We've been trying to conceive for over a year.  I'm 38 almost 39 and hubby is 32.  I started charting right from day one. I've had my progesterone checked 7 DPO and 22 vials of blood taken to check god knows what else. My hubby has had his sperm checked now twice.  The first one was low the second was acceptable.

We started seeing a specialist in Victoria who did a sonohysteriogram on me and found nothing. I'm now on my second cycle after that procedure and both are anovulatory. Even though we've been told we're fine.

What should I be asking the doctor for now in this case?  what do we need to take as a next step?

angel: I am not sure if you received a response to your question yet, but I would suggest you ask your doctor about Clomid or Femara to help with ovulation.  If those work for you and you ovulate, but still do not achieve pregnancy, the next step would probably be an IUI procedure (Intra-uterine insemenation). With your husband's second semen analysis being within normal range you might be a good candidate for an IUI.  It also might be a good idea to discuss your bloodwork results with your doctor to see if there any other factors that could be contributing to you not ovulating on your own.  Hope this helps.  Good luck!
